Just a little longer
First things first. Happy Anniversary!!!
That night still feels like yesterday, when I promised you a hundred kisses in exchange of a yes. That night when I said words I have not spoken in years, words I would end up saying over again. It has been 4 years since, and I still do not tire of saying these words, I love you.
Fast forward to today, to a time our love has blossomed into future plans - to goals that we are laying out for ourselves, as individuals and as a couple. I hope you can be as patient as you can be, with me, with us.
I look forward to the time that we are comfortable, as planned, as targeted, when we can finally enjoy the fruits of our labor, enjoy what we have, enjoy life. Until then, let's hold each other's hand and support each other. You'll probably be pulling me a few times along the way, but I hope you don't ever get tired of it.
A friend recently asked me how I defined love. Home, I said. Love is home. Love is that feeling you have that you are where you belong, where you feel safe, where you are comfortable. Love is with you - I'm finally home.
